Welcome to Isola Chianina, we produce ethical, free range and grass fed beef from our farm in South Gippsland. We grow out animals to over 2 years old, we age our beef and we deliver fresh to you.
What's it all about?
Chianina is the oldest breed of cattle in the world, we have a herd in South Gippsland near Wilsons Prom. We aim to produce ethical, grass fed, great tasting quality beef.
We look after our farm and our soils, by stocking lightly and only using natural mineral fertiliser.
We breed the lean Chianina breed which is slow maturing producing great flavour.
We dont rush, our animals are hung for at least 2 weeks after slaughter.
We only supply 10kg mixed boxes, you get some of all the cuts, this is responsible and sustainable farming and consumption,
